ESP is proud to be the fulfillment bureau for the California Business Journals. ESP has been providing services since January 2006 for three publications–Los Angeles Business Journal, San Fernando Valley Business Journal, and Orange County Business Journal. The business journals deliver the most complete package of news and information on local companies, industries and business people. The content is comprehensive, authoritative, concise and entertaining. The key to this union is ESP’s ability to handle hybrid publications better than most systems. Each of the business journals has a significant portion of non-paid circulation in addition to its core paid circulation. Michael Jordan, former Director of Circulation for Los Angeles Business Journal and San Fernando Valley Business Journal, and current Director of Operations for ESP, provides additional insight as to why the three publications chose ESP. He explains that it was “the ability to do their own customer service, combined with the high-end tools not offered by other systems” that made the switch to ESP alluring. Matt Toledo, the President and Publisher of Los Angeles Business Journal, takes a more personal view: “Systems are one thing, but you can’t take the place of having good people, and ESP has the right team top to bottom.”
