ABOUT CHRONICLE MISSIONWIDE
Imagine providing everything The Chronicle of Philanthropy publishes online to everyone
in your office via your organization's own computer network. Chronicle Missionwide
gives you that power.
The same Chronicle that costs $72.00 a year for 18 issues in print is now available
to everyone in your group — on desktops, laptops, and netbooks — for little more
than $5.00 each in organizations with fewer than 20 employees.
You gain all the know-how. All the insights. All the strategies and practices, data
and resources successful charities use to raise money. Land grants. Find support.
Attract attention. Recruit volunteers. And grow missions.
With Chronicle Missionwide, you can get daily news updates via e-mail. Search archives
filled with years of knowledge. Forward and share important articles with colleagues.
Gain access to special reports and key statistics.
Chronicle Missionwide provides you and your staff with a direct connection to professional
resources needed to succeed. With video interviews and instructionals. Podcasts
and live chat. Forums where you can comment, question, and pose problems — so the
entire community of over 100,000 fellow Chronicle of Philanthropy readers can help
you find workable solutions.
And because Chronicle Missionwide is online, The Chronicle of Philanthropy is no
longer limited to a few at the top who pass along dated copies to front-liners waiting
for direction. Now everyone from executive directors to board members, young associates
— even volunteers — can have immediate, real-time access to fresh-daily, difference-making
news and information.
For everyone who has always wanted their entire organization to benefit from all
the ways The Chronicle of Philanthropy helps you raise money, land grants, find
donors, and do more good... And anyone who ever thought, "I can't afford even ONE
print subscription for myself, never mind several for office staff and trustees..."
Chronicle Missionwide is the breakthrough you have been waiting for. A practical,
responsible, pennies-on-the-dollar solution that provides organization-wide benefits
like no other resource in the nonprofit world.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a "site license?"
It's an institutional subscription to The Chronicle of Philanthropy that allows
all the staff members of an entire organization to gain complete access to all of
The Chronicle's Web site. Content normally restricted to individual subscribers
becomes available to everyone.
How is access to controlled? Will our staff members each need a unique user name
No — access is controlled by your organization's Internet Protocol [IP] number or
static IP range. Once these numbers have been entered into The Chronicle's authentication
database, your staff members are recognized automatically and given immediate and
complete access to all requested Chronicle content online. No logging on is required.
Will staff members ever need to create a personal Chronicle account?
Yes — a free Chronicle account is needed if they choose to sign up for free e-newsletters,
receive job alerts, comment on articles, participate in forums, or forward our content
to colleagues. Otherwise, they do not need to create an account to gain access to
our content. Once on the site, identity and browsing history is anonymous.
Will we be able to access The Chronicle's Web site from home, or other locations
away from the office?
Yes — but only if your organization uses a proxy server that allows authorized users
(i.e., your staff members and others you designate) to enjoy remote access to the
online products your organization has purchased.
Our organization is small. We don't have a proxy server. We don't have a static
range of IP numbers. Can I still purchase a site license?
Yes — if your group uses an organization-based e-mail domain address (such as @tx.redcross.org),
we can add your e-mail domain to our authentication database. In this case, staff
members will need to create a free personal Chronicle account using your organization's
e-mail address, and they will need to log on to our site to access content.
Can I purchase both IP and e-mail domain access?
Yes — use this form to place your order, and then follow-up by sending an email
request for both services to firstname.lastname@example.org
